 Last updated: September 7, 2026

1. Information We Process

ShareDock may process the following limited information:

  • Access codes and authentication information required to verify authorized access.
  • Device identifiers and cryptographic device-verification information used to protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.
  • Session cookies and related session data required to open administrator-authorized browser sessions.
  • Limited website content required for the extension to identify supported pages and perform its requested functions.

ShareDock does not display shared account passwords to extension users.

2. How We Use Information

Information is processed only to:

  • Verify access codes and authorized devices.
  • Provide access to approved sessions.
  • Apply administrator-defined access controls.
  • Protect sessions against unauthorized access, abuse, replay attacks, and fraud.
  • Maintain the security, reliability, and functionality of the extension.

3. Browser Permissions

ShareDock requests browser permissions only when they are required for its core functionality. These permissions may allow the extension to:

  • Store extension preferences and authorization information.
  • Read and manage session cookies for approved websites.
  • Open or update authorized browser tabs.
  • Run required functionality on approved pages.
  • Display security or access notifications.
  • Perform scheduled authorization and version checks.

ShareDock does not use these permissions for unrelated advertising or tracking.

4. Data Sharing

ShareDock does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Limited information may be processed by service providers used to operate and secure ShareDock. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.

5. Data Security

ShareDock uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted communications, device-bound verification, signed requests, time-limited authorization, and replay protection.

No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide authorized access, maintain security, prevent abuse, meet legal requirements, and resolve technical issues.

Authorization and session information may be deleted or revoked when access expires, an administrator revokes access, or it is no longer required.

7. User Choices

Users may stop using ShareDock at any time by removing the extension from their browser.

Access codes, approved sessions, and device authorizations may be managed or revoked by the administrator who provided access.

8. Children’s Privacy
